How to properly care for Lejaan bed linen

To keep materials looking new, it's worth taking care of them with love and remembering the basics, which we will remind you of today. Don't worry, it's not rocket science. Care for TENCEL™ Lyocell Before you make your bed with TENCEL™ Lyocell, it's always a good idea to wash the products at least once at the recommended temperature. This will soften the material's surface and prepare it for your first night's sleep. To preserve the color and all the benefits, it's essential to wash bedding inside out. For regular washing, 40°C is the ideal choice, but for more intensive cleaning, you can go up to 60°C. With TENCEL™ Lyocell, avoid optical brighteners or fabric softeners. The material itself is naturally soft and exceptionally smooth, so it doesn't require any chemical softeners. Fabric softener coats the fibers, diminishing their core benefits such as breathability and efficient moisture absorption. The laundry can be tumble dried. It is advisable to turn the bedding inside out and choose a milder program. If unsure, the label on our product will always guide you. Maximum potential of organic cotton The magic of organic cotton lies primarily in its ecological production without the use of chemicals or pesticides. To preserve all its benefits and natural gentleness to the skin and nature, we must not forget a few basic steps in its care. For the longevity of organic cotton bedding, we recommend setting the washing temperature to 40°C. If you need to remove visible dirt, feel free to choose 60°C. Always try to use an adequate amount of detergent and wash bedding inside out. You can easily tumble dry organic cotton. Bedding made of cotton and cotton with polyester blend With both traditional cotton and cotton with a polyester blend, you don't have to worry about washing at 60°C. The main benefits of both materials include a strong structure and exceptional resistance to wear. However, if you just want to refresh your bedding or sheet, 40°C is perfectly sufficient. For the best possible result, it's better to turn the bedding inside out before putting it in the washing machine. These collections can also be tumble dried. Among the main advantages of cotton are its strength and resistance to damage. Don't forget the fillings The ideal temperature for duvets and pillows from both Comfort and Classic ranges is 60°C. For both options, ⅓ of the usual amount of laundry gel is sufficient. Try to wash all fillings every 6-12 months. Avoid dry cleaning, bleaching, or ironing. After washing, and ideally every month, we recommend fluffing the products carefully. This will help release and air the fibers, which helps maintain their fluffiness. After waking up, always leave the bed unmade for a while. Even the fillings need to breathe and release excess moisture that has accumulated overnight. Try not to make your bed immediately after waking up and let all excess moisture evaporate from the bed. A few general tips at the end Just like with clothes, it's worth washing white, light, and dark bedding separately. We generally recommend not using fabric softener, for the simple reason that it contains hydrophobic substances that strip textiles of their ability to absorb water, thus causing bedding to lose its functional benefits. When drying outdoors, it is better to avoid direct sunlight and always hang products inside out. This way, their color will remain rich and uniform. Washing naturally strengthens the fibers in the fabric structure, which serves as an effective prevention against pilling. If you are purchasing a complete color collection of bedding, consider buying several pairs of pillowcases. These take more of a beating during sleep from natural facial oils, sweat, or makeup residue. To maintain a hygienic environment, it is worth changing them more frequently. Caring for bed linen doesn't require complicated procedures; just follow a few simple rules.
