All Lejaan collections are created with sustainability and timelessness in mind. We want our products to look great in every home, ideally together.
One of the important steps is the color selection, which is handled by our creative director, Jana Hučíková. We also discussed our color philosophy with her.
Dream Home
We have had a sophisticated approach to colors right from the start. "A harmonious home where one can match everything exactly to their taste has always been our priority. This is why we decided on a unified color palette," notes our creative director Jana, who was present at the very beginning of Lejaan.

"Many modern apartments and houses have the bathroom next to the bedroom, or directly connected to it," Jana explains the decision why even seemingly unrelated product lines – bed linen and bathroom terrycloth – match.

Creative process interwoven with aesthetic and practical vision
"When choosing colors, the main focus is always on the bedding, from which the terrycloth shade naturally derives," Jana describes the first steps of her creative process. Although the color scheme of products often matches, it may not seem so at first glance. For each, many other factors influence the final result.

"For towels, functionality is clearly the most important criterion. When expanding collections, I also consider the structure of the terrycloth and what we ultimately want from it. For example, for the Playful Cotton collection, we chose a lower grammage and playful stripe, because it is one of our basic collections," Jana emphasizes the practical side of things, which goes hand in hand with the aesthetic one. The color harmony could not work without the utility.

Original color spectrum
All our bedroom and bathroom products are identified by carefully selected Pantone shades. Each chosen color carries an idea, feeling, or experience from which we draw inspiration and reflect it in the communication of individual collections.
Our unique dark blue , for example, transports you to the depths of the ocean, terracotta takes you back to vacation moments at Grandma's cottage, and gray-blue is like a breath of fresh air before a storm.

How to create a timeless and sustainable interior
The key to a visually aesthetic home is the mutual harmony of chosen pieces that complement each other perfectly. "Our goal is for customers to be able to furnish their entire home in their favorite color and get everything in one place," Jana confides. The right color choice, one that doesn't get boring, is the basic ingredient of timelessness.
Another value that we proudly uphold at Lejaan is sustainability. We believe that the best path to it lies through conscious purchases, quality materials and workmanship, and timeless shades. "We strive to constantly expand our range in terms of color and material so that everyone can choose and the products remain part of homes for as long as possible," Jana adds with a smile.
