WHAT DOES MÉLANGE MEAN
The term mélange began to be used in English as early as the 17th century. The word comes from the French "mesler," which translates to "to mix." You might recall Viennese mélange coffee or the geological term for various types of rocks. However, mélange yarn also refers to a term in the textile industry for yarn with a color effect created by mixing fibers of different colors or origins. For our Melange collections, we created a fusion of colored and white fibers and combined lyocell and cotton.

KNITTED PILLOWS
For a truly comfortable experience, we have added decorative pillows to the throws, which will liven up any seating arrangement and add another level of comfort. The 40 × 40 cm pillows will match the throws in their shades. For a mix-and-match effect, you can combine them. We recommend our Classic High filling in the same size for the pillowcases.
FOR LEJAAN KIDS
The original design of Colour Melange was created for cribs and strollers as part of the Lejaan Kids collection, using materials sensitive to children's skin and ideal dimensions. We ultimately decided to include the knitted accessories in a separate section, but they perfectly complement the original children's bedding collections, Tobias' Dream and Rebecca's Dream. With its colors, Colour Melange can brighten up a subtle wingback chair as well as children's kingdoms.
