If you're looking for a place where historic architecture merges with modern design to create a timeless building, look no further. Villa Volman is a Czech functionalist gem, whose spaces have recently been proudly adorned with Lejaan bed linen.

Villa Volman

Vast forests, a nearby water surface mimicking a mirror, and romantic silence that engulfs everything around. The roots of the majestic Villa Volman and its impressive grounds date back to the First Republic, when it was designed by avant-garde architects Karel Janů and Jiří Štursa, following Le Corbusier's style. The residence can be found a few kilometers east of Prague, in the town of Čelákovice.

Villa Volman is dominated by a brick color, which is also featured in our Grandma’s House collection.

Beauty interwoven with utility

The exceptionality of the building is underscored by its timeless design, which elegantly combines the contrast of traditional stone masonry with smooth surfaces and sharp lines. At Lejaan, timelessness is also one of the most important values, constantly pushing us to seek new solutions and elevate our products to a higher level.

Villa Volman is connected to the surrounding nature by projecting terraces resembling captain's bridges.

An unexpected connection

Lejaan recently became part of Villa Volman. Zuzana Kadlečková, curator and chairwoman of the Volman Villa association, spoke about the blooming cooperation: "Behind Villa Volman is a story of exceptional architecture, and behind Lejaan is a story of an exceptional approach. We met during the summer Sleeping under the Stars event, where we jointly prepared beds for guests on the terrace. It was meant to be a one-time collaboration, but the bed linen, pillows, and duvets impressed us so much that we decided to refit our entire apartment with Lejaan."

In Volman Villa, you'll find chrome details, marble accents, and exotic wood.

Paths that naturally met will now create something entirely new, shared, and sophisticated. Something that will leave an unforgettable experience for visitors to Volman Villa. "I want our guests to leave enthusiastic, rested, and with a feeling of being cherished," Zuzana adds.

"Behind Villa Volman is a story of exceptional architecture, and behind Lejaan is a story of an exceptional approach."

Lejaan first-hand

What does this cooperation mean for visitors to the villa? "Guests of Miss Luda's apartment will wake up in Lejaan duvets and their brightly white Daily Notes bed linen. We furnished it with carefully selected and sensitively restored furniture from legends of Czech functionalist design, such as Jindřich Halabala or Robert Slezák," Zuzana shares with a smile.

When asked what enchanted her about Lejaan bed linen, she was clear: "It's so soft, you truly feel like you're on a cloud."

Universal bright white Daily Notes bed linen features a subtle stripe detail.
