Podcaster, coach, influencer, YouTuber...  Lucie Minářová has many passions, facets, and roles, but today we met her in her most natural one. At home with her dog Olivka, surrounded by the purest interior with a touch of color and a large dose of comfort.

Join us to see what defines that unmistakable "home" for the always-smiling Lucie.

What was the first thing that enchanted you about this apartment?

Primarily the balcony, the large kitchen, and also the proximity to necessary city amenities, but still having the feeling of being in a village. From the window, I only see greenery and feel inner peace.

How do you manage to imprint yourself on a rented space?

From furniture to decorations, to my favorite "corners" for work, rest, and regeneration.

What do you think makes a home?

Primarily, I would say Olivia, my dog. But also the feeling of coziness, which I create with light, candles, scents,  throws and so on.

"I like quality things that I then take good care of."

And what do you think home smells like?

Like freshly laundered clothes or a cake that just finished baking in the oven!

You can go ahead and recommend your favorite home fragrances or candles.

I love aroma diffusers. I have one from Seasons at home where you put in the whole essential oil bottle, no water needed. I love to play with scents and I have a lot of them at home. In the morning, I usually turn on something citrusy (red orange, tangerine, etc.), and in the evening, I prefer lavender or some relaxing blend.

Which room do you spend the most time in?

In the bedroom, at least 7-8 hours every day! (laughs)

Lucie much prefers to swap a party for an evening spent in freshly made bed.

How would you describe your apartment in three words?

Calm, warm, and clean – usually (laughs), not just in terms of tidiness, but also furnishing.

How often do you change, move, or rearrange things in the apartment?

I don't move furniture much; I feel like everything fits nicely here, and I'm happy with it. But about once or twice a year, I need to change something. This ranges from organizing food in the kitchen to redecorating a corner – most recently, I got rid of the wingback chair and created a regenerating corner not only for meditation or stretching, but also for a red light panel in the future.

What item for your apartment did you search for the longest?

Definitely the couch! Finding a nice one for a reasonable price felt like an extreme challenge. In the end, I had to compromise a bit on my requirements. But one day, I'll get my dream couch!

The combination of knitted throws and Colour Melange decorative pillows, which is guaranteed to work.

Did you make anything in the apartment yourself?

No, nobody would want to see that. Not even me! (laughs) But I plan to make my own coffee mugs!

What should everyone have at home?

Soft light, candles, and a pile of pillows.

What evokes the feeling of freshly made beds in you?

A blossoming meadow. Or a fluffy cloud! I love freshly made beds!

Can you guess Lucie's favorite color? We probably already have a clue.

What else could Lejaan produce?

A warm blanket! That super soft one you want to wrap yourself in during winter and sip hot chocolate.

We instantly fell in love with your flatmate Olivka. What's her favorite spot in the apartment?

Definitely the balcony. Whenever I open the balcony door, she's able to stay out there all day. Sleeping in the sun, watching cars and people at the bus stop, or sniffing the herbs.

Olivia embodies home for Lucie, and we don't wonder why. For us too, she was extremely warm and cuddly company.

Do you have any favorite rituals?

I have so many. And I love them all equally, otherwise, I wouldn't do them. I've learned to only include things in my routines that make sense to me and I enjoy, otherwise, I wouldn't maintain them long-term. Specifically, these are morning cold showers, a gratitude list, coffee on the balcony, and morning and evening skincare.

My favorite spot in the apartment is...

probably the kitchen and the balcony!

My favorite home accessories are...

fluffy towels, pillows, vases with fresh flowers, and lamps.

At home, I prefer to wear...

the most comfortable things. In summer, I love linen dresses, and in winter, matching oversized tracksuit sets!

9 QUESTIONS FOR LUCIE

Shower or bath?

Shower.

Early bird or night owl?

Definitely an early bird, and it's never been much different.

Sleeping under the stars or in a luxury hotel?

Can I have one of each? I love adventure, experiences, and nature, but then I also like to shower and do my skincare in the most comfortable bed with breakfast delivery.

Second-hand vintage items or new arrivals?

It might not be a popular answer, but I like quality new things that I then take good care of.

Minimalism or maximalism?

I would say (for me) the golden middle ground. But rather fewer, higher quality, and more expensive things that will stay with me for a long time.

Perfect order or creative chaos?

Order. Only in it can I work creatively!

An evening at a party or in bed?

All the way in bed! (laughs) Ideally freshly made.

Morning coffee or tea?

Coffee. Always coffee! (laughs)

Solid colors or Mix & Match?

I like simplicity, so solid colors.
