The optimal temperature for quality sleep is 17-20 °C, which seems like a difficult task in summer. The material mitigates sweating, reduces humidity, and promotes a cooling sensation, which is typical for lyocell-cotton bedding and sheets.
The thermoregulatory properties of lyocell fibers can also adapt to other seasons. So you don't have to worry about putting away your bed linen after summer. The fabric is designed for year-round use, so it cools in summer and pleasantly warms in winter.
SUSTAINABILITY
The responsible production of TENCEL™ Lyocell begins in sustainably managed forests. Wood, which is harvested only from certified sources, is further processed using an organic closed-loop process. This means that more than 99.8% of the generated substances are recycled, thereby completely preventing the creation of harmful wastewater.
"All substances generated during its production are reused. This creates a minimal amount of waste, and water consumption is up to twenty times lower than in cotton processing," summarizes the production process Lejaan co-owner Honza Bartoš.
BREATHABILITY
Lyocell fibers excel at wicking away moisture, supporting body temperature regulation, and preventing sweating. They are structured to effectively absorb water vapor, which is then transported within the fibers. This ensures a feeling of dryness and exceptional comfort during sleep.
By minimizing moisture, an antibacterial environment is naturally created, preventing the proliferation of microorganisms.
