Discover the magic of our premium goose down fillings. In this article, you'll learn where the down comes from, what certifications the fillings meet, what makes the duvets and pillows exceptional, and how to best care for them.
Origin and Processing of Our Down
For our down duvets and pillows, we chose high-quality goose down. The geese, from which we obtain the down in accordance with animal welfare criteria, come exclusively from European farms. Most often, these are certified farms in Poland.
We did not choose geese by chance. Compared to other types, this down has excellent thermoregulatory properties, so it perfectly retains heat and helps wick moisture away from the body. It is also naturally durable and light, which subjectively reduces the weight of the fillings, thereby contributing to a more comfortable sleep.
Once the goose is plucked, the down is rinsed and sent to the factory. It travels wet and chilled. It must not dry out during transport, otherwise, it would no longer get rid of its natural odor. In the factory, the down is cleaned again, up to twenty times, to remove all impurities.
We wash our down with local Vltava river water, which is returned to circulation thanks to a wastewater treatment plant, so it is not wasted. This is followed by drying in a dryer and a journey to the sorting machine. There, the necessary ratios of down and feather are created, which are then filled into 100% cotton casings.

The quality of our down matters to us, from its origin to strict processing principles.
Goose Down, As You Don't Know It
Down fillings can be surrounded by many prejudices. People associate them with heavy duvets in cottages, where the feathers would clump to the sides and stiff quills would protrude through the casing. However, thanks to modernized production processes and clever details of our fillings, these characteristics are now just a nostalgic memory.
The Down Comfort collection of duvets and pillows is exceptional for its lightness, densely woven casings, easy maintenance, and even distribution of quality, fine down. For duvets, it is held in place by functional stitching, and for pillows, by an innovative chamber system. Our fillings are designed to utilize the unparalleled advantages of down and provide you with the highest level of sleep comfort.
Certifications and Suitability for Allergy Sufferers
Our fillings meet the following certifications:
Responsible Down Standard
No animal was subjected to pain, suffering, or stress during the down harvesting process. This standard also monitors the maintenance and application of a system that allows tracking and identification of the material's origin.
Oeko-Tex® Standard 100
No chemical or harmful agents, substances, or dyes were used in the production of pillows or duvets.
NOMITE
Fillings are also suitable for people suffering from domestic dust or dust mite allergies and meet high standards of cleanliness, density, and fabric strength. Duvets and pillows are therefore not only suitable for households with down allergies.
Downafresh
The down is tested in a hygienic laboratory, treated with environmentally friendly agents, and meets the strictest hygienic requirements set by the European standard.

We fill our duvets and pillows with the highest quality goose down.
Down Comfort All Season Duvets
For our fluffy duvets made of goose down, we chose an optimal combination of 90% down and 10% feather. The light down feathers from the lower chest area protect against cold and have the highest warmth. Compared to firmer feathers, down consists of thousands of fine fibers that are naturally softer and give the filling lightness. The addition of feathers, on the other hand, is necessary to maintain shape and volume. This is also aided by the textile baffles with which the duvets are stitched. The pockets keep the down in place and provide enough space for it to expand.
Our Down Comfort All Season fillings are the best choice for a comfortable sleep all year round. Not only do they excellent at wicking away moisture, but thanks to their excellent thermal regulation, they keep you warm in winter and protect you from heat in summer. You can choose from classic and extended versions for single or double beds.

Down Comfort Medium Pillows
For the Down Comfort Medium pillows, we opted for a medium profile and two types of internal construction. For smaller sizes, specifically 40 × 40 cm and 40 × 60 cm, you will find a so-called single-chamber system, which contains 60% light down and 40% firm feather.
For the remaining sizes, we chose a so-called three-chamber system. The two outer chambers contain 90% down and 10% feather, while the inner chamber is filled with a combination of down and feather in a 15:85 ratio. This chamber acts as a firm base maintaining support and shape, while the outer chambers ensure maximum fluffiness and increased sleep comfort. Thanks to this innovative chamber construction, our down pillows remain voluminous and pleasantly soft for a long time.

Down Comfort Medium pillows provide perfect head and neck support thanks to their chamber system.
How to Properly Care for Down
Duvets and pillows from the Down Comfort range are washable. For long life, we recommend washing them at low spin speeds at 60 °C and with a gentle detergent, ideally once a year. If in doubt, do not hesitate to contact a professional dry cleaner.
You can also tumble dry fillings, where we suggest a lower temperature. Duvets and smaller pillows can also be air-dried, out of direct sunlight. Larger pillows naturally take longer to dry, so we do not recommend air-drying them.
After a night spent together, it is worth shaking out the fillings and leaving them unfolded to allow excess moisture to evaporate. From time to time, you can also air them out, but not in direct sunlight. And to keep them fluffy for a long time, we recommend not vacuum-sealing down fillings and not folding pillows.
