The term sateen is usually associated with a non-breathable, shiny, cold fabric that you fortunately will never find at Lejaan. This refers to a type of fabric made from 100% polyester, primarily used for women's evening dresses. However, what you will find with us is smooth, matte sateen after washing.

Sateen is a textile term for a type of weave of various yarns, where threads are laid over each other. This specific weave creates a uniquely smooth surface, which you will recognize with our collections made from cotton, organic cotton, lyocell and polyester.

Wrinkle-free yet soft. That's what our sateen bedding made from cotton with a synthetic fiber blend is like. The sateen weave is woven with a high thread count, so in addition to a soft surface, it also has higher strength and a longer lifespan.
