10 years ago she founded a fashion blog and today she owns an online store with clothes and accessories Bechick.com. Explore with us the stylish home of Veronika Fendrych Franková – a lover of interior fragrances, Lanzarote, and furniture with a story.
Do you have a favorite ritual?
Every Saturday, I start in the bathroom with a mud mask. I put on a Lejaan bathrobe, apply it to my face, make coffee, and enjoy the weekend, because I don't have time for it during the week. That's my little weekend ritual. I make myself look like a monster, steam my face, and treat myself to my own skin spa.

According to you, home is created by…
The people who live there. That's clear.
An unwanted scenario, but… If your house was on fire, what would you save?
The sofa (laughs). No, definitely my documents, my favorite handbag, and probably my computer, where I have photos full of memories. But I hope such a scenario never happens. I probably wouldn't know what to grab first.
What should everyone have at home?
I like interior fragrances. I think they create a home and an unforgettable memory. When you walk in, you just know you're home. So for me, it's definitely the scents that waft through the apartment and permeate all the rooms.

Do you have a tip for a specific one?
Currently, I really like interior fragrances from Trudon and Diptyque.
Your favorite place in the apartment is…
The study. Because of the Camaleonda sofa by Mario Bellini. I dreamt of it and also waited quite a long time for it.
And what inspired you when furnishing your home?
I look for inspiration everywhere. In fashion, in design. Of course, I like minimalism, but I wanted to highlight some elements at home connected, for example, with surfing or with places we love. For example, we have ceramics from our acquaintance from Lanzarote, who imprinted various shells and sand into them. So, each item always represents a specific place where we've been or traveled.

So your apartment writes your life story and constantly comes alive with new things you gradually bring into it.
Definitely, especially with those iconic pieces. For example, the Wassily armchair by Marcel Breuer from the 70s, which we had restored. Although a new piece can also be bought, we preferred to look for the original B3 model from Gavina for about a year. And we finally found it in Budapest. With these pieces, one must not rush; they will appear on their own over time.
What makes every space cozy?
Accessories, for sure. I love vases, pillows, throws, that's clear. And in my home, it's precisely those little pieces from travels that always remind me of a specific situation or beautiful moments.

Your favorite Lejaan product?
I started with Quiet Jungle, so definitely that bedding collection, which is absolutely great. But now I've also really grown fond of your throws. I always use them on the terrace when we sit outside in the evening, or also during breakfast with coffee.
And if you had to dream up a Lejaan product that we don't yet offer, what would it be?
You could also make interior fragrances. To scent blankets or pillows.
