She writes poetry, makes jewelry, designs interiors. Her work can also be seen behind Ambiente establishments and Dita P.'s unconventional cookbooks. We are talking about Yveta Anna Kroupová, the illustrator of the children's bedding Rebeca's Dream and Tobias' Dream.

We are immensely honored to present to you author's collections inspired by Yveta Anna Kroupová's childhood memories. This versatile, talented illustrator has imbued these collections with magic and designed bedding that your children will love to fall asleep in. The distinctive drawings, which do not disturb sleep, will brighten up any child's room.

How it all began

Both collections were created under the names of the children of Lejaan's founders, Marcel's daughter Rebeca and Honza's son Tobiáš. The silky softness of the materials is provided by our and your favorite combination of cotton and TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers from eucalyptus wood, which absorb moisture and are naturally soft and smooth to the touch. Precise stitching ensures that everything stays in place during pillow fights, without biting zippers and hard buttons.

Rebeca's Dream

TheRebeca's Dream collection in a delicate pink shade is complemented by fauna and flora motifs. "I drew from my childhood memories of summer. When we, as children, my cousin and I, secretly snuck through a hole in the fence into the overgrown, closed school grounds. We chased butterflies and caught grasshoppers in pickle jars. Even the wild rabbit really ran through there. I wanted to portray Rebeca's Dream as a romantic story about a little girl living in her carefree world," describes the author.

Tobias' Dream

The dinosaur collectionTobias' Dream was created thanks to Karel Zeman's cult film Journey to the Beginning of Time and The Book of Prehistory illustrated by Zdeněk Burian: "As a child, I could leaf through it for hours. I tried to incorporate details of 1950s aesthetics into the pattern, such as the boy's clothes on the raft. I deliberately didn't want the colors to be modern and striking, but rather muted and earthy."

Both children's collections have their equivalent adult bedding. "We know ourselves that children like to come to their parents with their duvet, which is why we primarily coordinated them with theNever Too Late andFather's Playground collections," adds co-owner Marcel.
